About Ange

Ange’s journey into sound healing began after suffering from an unknown Chronic illness that left me feeling as though my body was shutting down. Despite numerous doctor visits, Ange’s condition remained a mystery which resulted in deep depression.

Confined to his home, unable to stand for long periods and in constant pain, he found solace in holistic healing practices, particularly Sound Healing. His first session was transformative, lifting the burden of pain and mental fog. This sparked an insatiable curiosity, leading him to study sound therapy and witness its profound impact on both body and mind.

Today, he is a practitioner and testament to the transformative power of sound therapy.

Bring Balance back to your lives: An arm balance workshop with Cass Law

Sunday 27th October at 2-4pm

As we come to the tail end of the year, achieving balance is hard. Work, family, friendships and everything else can pull us in so many directions that staying grounded and stable in body and mind can be difficult. In yoga, we recognise that working with physical balance can help us achieve it in other ways, which is why we practice certain balancing poses. By exploring these postures, we practice balancing effort and release, breath and movement, body and mind and we learn to bring poise and stability into our everyday lives.

In this two hour workshop we will explore the most common yoga balance poses: arm balances. Arm balances are great places to start integrating balance into your practice and life. Working on these postures will help you build stability in your core and upper body and focus and calm your mind. Although arm balances require strength, learning how to direct energy and adjust your technique will teach you to rely less on power and help you find ease and lightness within each pose.

Cass’ workshop will explore arm balances practiced most frequently in yoga classes. We’ll explore Bakasana (crow + side crow), Koundinyasana 1 + 2 (twisted crow, flying splits) and Eka Pada Galavasana (flying pigeon). You will work on strength, flexibility and balance, whilst moving through prep poses that will empower and build your confidence in practice.

Cass Law is absolutely arm balance obsessed! Her passion and dedication for arm balances is evident in the many years of training with the best practitioners in Melbourne and around the world. She has been committed to her practice for the past 7 years and is ready to share everything she has learnt with you!
